Our Philosophy
At Forest Hill Heights, social connection is central to how we care for residents, not an add-on, but a daily commitment. On any given morning, you might find residents stretching in Chair Yoga, gathering for Coffee Chats, or sharpening their minds in Trivia Corner. By afternoon, there’s live music, Jewelry Making, or a Culinary Club session. By evening, Bingo, Arcade Games, and Puzzle Club keep the energy going.
Our calendar runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with programming flowing through multiple spaces across our community such as two dedicated community rooms with a constant schedule of events, plus activities throughout the building.
Whether your loved one wants a quiet afternoon of crafts, a competitive round of trivia, or a live musical performance, the choice is always theirs. There is something here for everyone!
Our Offering
Our 24/7 activities schedule is so robust that in addition to our two community rooms with a constant flow of scheduled events, we also have activities throughout the building. This creates an energetic and active environment where every resident feels stimulated, connected, and fulfilled. Some examples are:
From Seated Stretches and Scarf Aerobics every morning to Chair Yoga, Chair Dancercise, and Seated Dumbbell Exercise throughout the week, our fitness programs keep every resident moving at their own pace.
We regularly welcome live performers to Forest Hill Heights, from Tom Cooke and Danny Dolan to the Oak Grove Musical Performance, creating shared experiences that bring residents together and brighten every week.
Our creative programs give residents the time and space to explore the hobbies they love and discover new ones.
We honor every resident’s faith tradition with regular services from Rev. Weih’s Baptist Service, Full Mass with St. Ignatius, Rosary and Communion, and North Harford Worship Music, welcoming all beliefs and backgrounds.
From Trivia Corner, Pokeno, and Arcade Games to Balloon Bash, themed spirit days, and our monthly Birthday Party as there is always something social on the calendar to look forward to.
Residents come together around food with our Culinary Club, in-house Lunch In events featuring local favorites like Das Bierhalle and Margarita’s Pizza, and special socials throughout the month.
Daily Chronicle Fun Facts, Documentary Hour, Word Puzzles, Concentration Puzzles, Travelogue, and Star of the Month keep residents intellectually engaged and curious every single day.
